Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, associat als esculls i de clima temperat.^[5]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba al Pacífic occidental: des del Japó fins als mars que voregen la Xina.^[5]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12]^[13]^[14]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans.^[5]
