Hàbitat modifica
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic i de clima temperat (38°N-34°N).[6]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Nord-amèrica: Missouri, Arkansas i Oklahoma.[7][8][9]
