Reproducció modifica

És ovípar[5] i els ous tenen com a banyes a la closca.[6]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, de clima temperat i demersal que viu entre 15–120 m de fondària.[5][7]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic occidental: el Japó, el Mar d'Okhotsk i el Mar de la Xina Oriental.[5][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans.[5]
