Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica
modificaÉs un peix marí, demersal, d'aigües fondes[10] i de clima temperat, el qual viu al Pacífic[6] nord-occidental: el Japó (com ara, l'illa de Hokkaido[11] i les prefectures de Hyōgo[12] i Niigata[13] -incloent-hi l'illa de Sado[14]- a l'illa de Honshu)[15][2][6][16][17][10][18][19][20] i la mar Groga.[21][22][23][3][7]
Observacions
modificaÉs inofensiu per als humans[7] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és alt (65 de 100).[24]
