Descripció modifica

Fa 18 cm de llargària màxima.[6][7]

Reproducció modifica

És de fecundació interna[8] i vivípar.[9]

Alimentació modifica

El seu nivell tròfic és de 3,2.[10]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica modifica

És un peix marí, demersal i de clima temperat, el qual viu a les costes rocalloses del Pacífic[11][6] nord-occidental: el Japó[6][12][13][14][15] i Corea del Sud,[16][17][18][19] incloent-hi el mar del Japó.[20][6][3][7][21]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans[7] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és moderat (40 de 100).[22]
