Acanthurus bariene

espècie de peix

Acanthurus bariene és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels acantúrids.[2] Pot arribar a fer 50 cm de llargària. Té nou espines i 26-28 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal i 3 espines i 25-26 radis tous a l'anal. És de color marró. Té escates petites.[3][4] És un peix marí, associat als esculls[5] i de clima tropical (23 °C-29 °C; 30°N-24°S) que viu entre 6 i 50 m de fondària.[3][6][7][8] Menja algues.[9] Es troba des de Moçambic i les Maldives fins al Pacífic occidental.[3][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33][34][35] És inofensiu per als humans.[3]
