Depredadors modifica
A la Xina és depredat per Paralichthys olivaceus.[6][7]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí, de clima temperat (32°N-23°N) i bentopelàgic que viu entre 25-80 m de fondària.[4][8]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic nord-occidental: el sud del Japó, Hong Kong i el Mar de la Xina Oriental.[4][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19]
Ús comercial modifica
És emprat en la medicina tradicional xinesa.[20]
