Morfologia modifica

Reproducció modifica

És monògam.[3][4]

Alimentació modifica

Menja petits invertebrats, com ara copèpodes, amfípodes, ostracodes, nematodes i foraminífers.[1]

Depredadors modifica

A Austràlia és depredat per Plectropomus leopardus.[5][6]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, de clima tropical (22 °C–27 °C) i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 2-30 m de fondària.[7][1]

Distribució geogràfica modifica
