Pot arribar a fer 11 cm de llargària màxima.^[5]^[6]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, bentopelàgic i de clima tropical.^[5]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a Indonèsia, el mar d'Arafura^[7] i el nord-oest d'Austràlia.^[8]^[5]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans i de costums nocturns.^[5]^[13]
