Morfologia modifica
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí de clima subtropical i associat als esculls de corall, el qual viu entre 12-40 m de fondària.[4][6]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba a Nova Caledònia,[7] el sud de la Gran Barrera de Corall (Austràlia),[8][9] l'Illa Norfolk[10][11] i Tonga.[12][4]
