Depredadors modifica

Als Estats Units és depredat per Ictalurus punctatus, Oncorhynchus mykiss i Salmo trutta trutta.[3]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix d'aigua dolça i de clima temperat (9 °C-11 °C).[1][4]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a Nord-amèrica: des del riu Colúmbia (Colúmbia Britànica, Canadà) fins al riu Colorado (Arizona i Nou Mèxic als Estats Units) i Sonora (Mèxic).[1][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
