Morfologia modifica
Reproducció modifica
És ovípar amb larves i ous planctònics.[6]
Depredadors modifica
És depredat per Stenella attenuata.[7][8]
Hàbitat modifica
És un peix marí i de clima tropical que viu entre 100-500 m de fondària.[5][9]
Distribució geogràfica modifica
Es troba al Pacífic oriental: des d'Oregon fins al sud de Califòrnia (Estats Units)[10] i Mèxic.[5][9][11][6]
