Fa 8,9 cm de llargària màxima.[7][8]

Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica modifica

És un peix marí i batipelàgic (entre 450 i 930 m de fondària), el qual viu al Pacífic occidental central: és un endemisme de les illes Filipines.[3][9][10][7][11][12][4][8][13]

Observacions modifica

És inofensiu per als humans[8] i el seu índex de vulnerabilitat és baix (16 de 100).[14]
