Morfologia modifica

Els mascles poden assolir 30 cm de longitud total.[3][4]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 2-80 m de fondària.[3][5]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba des de Sri Lanka[6] i Sumatra fins a Fiji, les Filipines, República de Palau i Chuuk.[3][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][5][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24]

Observacions modifica

És verinós per als humans.[3]
