Alimentació modifica

Menja principalment crustacis i peixets.[1]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix de clima tropical i demersal que viu fins als 60 m de fondària.[1]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba des de la costa occidental del Golf Pèrsic, l'Índia i Sri Lanka fins al Japó, les Filipines, Borneo, Nova Guinea i el nord d'Austràlia.[1][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27][28][29]

Ús comercial modifica

És venut fresc i en salaó (incloent-hi la bufeta natatòria) als mercats locals.[1]
