Morfologia modifica

Reproducció modifica

És ovovivípar.[5]

Alimentació modifica

Menja peixos i crustacis petits.[6]

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix de clima tropical (39°N-18°S) i demersal.[2]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a l'oceà Pacífic occidental: des del sud del Japó fins a Tailàndia. També és present a Fiji i Tuvalu.[2][7]

Observacions modifica

És verinós per als humans.[3]
