Morfologia modifica

Hàbitat modifica

És un peix marí, de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall que viu entre 0-50 m de fondària.[3][1]

Distribució geogràfica modifica

Es troba a l'Atlàntic occidental (des de Bermuda, Florida -els Estats Units- i les Bahames fins al nord de Sud-amèrica) i l'Atlàntic oriental (Illa de l'Ascensió, Santa Helena i São Tomé).[4][1][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25][26][27]
